IMBEX 2026: 8 Young Talents from the Aegean
Following the successful completion of its first term last year, the second term of the program began after a comprehensive evaluation process. In line with its regional development goal, 8 students from 6 universities in the Aegean Region joined the program this year. Working in departments such as sales, production, R&D, design, human resources and planning, the interns take on active responsibilities in real projects from day one.
Each intern is accompanied by an expert mentor throughout the program. Monthly training sessions cover topics such as CV writing, interview simulations, and representation and presentation skills. Comprehensive feedback and evaluations at the end of the term aim to help young people start their careers one step ahead.
University–Industry Partnerships
İmbat is giving lasting continuity to the university partnerships that fuel its R&D strength. Protocols signed with the İzmir Institute of Technology (IZTECH) and Ege University bring academic knowledge to the production floor through joint R&D projects, TÜBİTAK-supported studies and applied engineering processes. Student groups from engineering faculties, especially from Ege University and Dokuz Eylül University, are also regularly hosted at the company’s production facilities in İzmir, where they observe manufacturing processes on site.
Corporate Training and Innovation Incentives
İmbat prioritizes the development of its existing team as much as attracting new talent. 72% of the company’s employees hold an associate, bachelor’s or postgraduate degree, and one in five office employees has a postgraduate degree. Employees pursuing master’s or doctoral studies receive bonuses, flexibility and academic support, while those who file patent or utility model applications, publish academic work or speak at industry seminars are also rewarded. Through the in-house “Share & Gain” project, employees pass on knowledge and experience from their fields of expertise to their colleagues in interactive sessions.
With its young talent programs, strong university ties and in-house incentives, İmbat continues to meet the needs of the future with domestic engineering and a qualified workforce.
