Transformation Winds at Imbat: New Structuring in IT, Production, and Planning
Standing out in the HVAC industry with its innovative approach, Imbat opens the doors of its digital transformation journey—spanning from production to information technologies—to its audience.
This restructuring, carried out along the axes of digitalization, sustainability, and operational efficiency, creates an impact not only at the infrastructure level but also across decision-making processes and corporate culture.
The details of this transformation are shared through interviews with department managers. In three separate video releases, each aspect of the transformation is explained by the experts leading the process.
Digital Investments in Production and a Sustainability-Driven Approach
The transformation within Imbat’s production department is highlighted by a redesigned 10,000 m² production area built in line with lean manufacturing principles. In addition to automation-supported processes such as laser cutting, CNC machining, and pipe bending, the integration of robotic applications into the production floor has delivered significant improvements in both speed and accuracy.
Production Manager Bülent Domurcuk emphasizes that resource efficiency and environmental impact are key priorities in this transformation. He also notes that the increased use of AI-supported systems in decision-making mechanisms is among the company’s future goals. His detailed insights into the process are shared in the video interview.

Integrated Structures and Real-Time Data Management in Planning
At Imbat, production planning processes have also been restructured. New systems integrated with real-time data flow and ERP infrastructure enable faster and more traceable planning. The synchronization established between design and production ensures that manufacturing steps are carried out more effectively.
Production Planning Manager Fatih Pulat highlights that this transformation has changed not only processes but also perspectives. Details about the dynamic planning system, supported by real-time data from the field, are explained in the related interview video.

Strengthening Corporate Digitalization Through IT Infrastructure
At the center of the digital transformation is the Information Technologies department, which is reshaping all operations through ERP applications and integrated systems. In this new structure—where 70–80% of processes are managed via ERP—nearly full automation is achieved across procurement, material supply, quality control, and after-sales services.
