Imbat is running a sustainable tree-planting campaign aimed at raising environmental awareness among both employees and visitors. Throughout 2024, all factory visitors from Turkey and abroad received certificates for saplings donated in their names in collaboration with the TEMA Foundation, emphasizing the importance of this contribution to nature. Starting in 2025, the campaign was expanded to include employees; saplings were donated on behalf of staff celebrating their 5th, 10th, 15th, and 20th anniversaries, accompanied by personalized certificates to strengthen this meaningful gesture. The campaign not only highlights the company’s commitment to corporate sustainability but also reinforces internal communication and employee engagement.

To support gender equality, Imbat is conducting a comprehensive social responsibility partnership with the Association of Women Engineers and Architects (MÜKAD). Throughout 2024, Imbat sponsored events organized by MÜKAD and made a donation to a scholarship fund on behalf of all female employees on International Women’s Day, March 8. In 2025, this collaboration expanded to include on-site activities such as hosting and technical visits at the factory. Imbat remains committed to strengthening the presence of women engineers and architects in technical fields, contributing to their professional development, and promoting an equitable workplace culture.
Imbat actively contributed to the ‘Young Women Building Their Future’ project, conducted in collaboration with Sabancı Foundation, UNDP, and relevant public institutions. While supporting the development of the curriculum for oxygen welding training aimed at young women yet to enter the workforce, successful graduates were offered job opportunities, ensuring direct employment. The project stands out as a pioneering social responsibility initiative, delivering concrete results that support social inclusion and transformative goals.

Imbat provided voluntary expert contributions to the ‘Rooftop Units’ technical guide published by Eurovent, one of Europe’s leading HVAC platforms. This contribution to the development of the international technical document reflects Imbat’s vision to share its engineering expertise with Europe and underscores its technical leadership in the industry. Additionally, it supported the active representation of the Turkish HVAC sector on European platforms, advancing knowledge sharing beyond borders.
Through its collaboration with Ege University Vocational School, Imbat offered internship opportunities to two students during the summer of 2024 and extended full-time job offers to both upon graduation. In 2025, university-industry protocols were signed with İzmir Institute of Technology (İYTE) and Ege University Faculty of Engineering, providing young engineering candidates with technical visits, fieldwork, and hands-on internship opportunities. These collaborations not only support professional development but also contribute to cultivating the qualified workforce the industry requires.

Imbat corporately supports its employees’ participation in master’s and doctoral programs. While providing time flexibility and academic advisory support during their studies, academic achievements are rewarded to foster a culture of continuous development within the organization. Additionally, as a gold sponsor of the 21st Exergy Summer Course focused on energy and sustainability, Imbat contributed to the technical growth of its R&D engineers. Furthermore, technical visits organized in collaboration with ESSİAD enabled young talents to gain hands-on experience in production facilities. This holistic approach aims to support both employee development and the preparation of young professionals for the industry.
Throughout 2025, Imbat supported the technical training programs of the Turkish HVAC Engineers Association (TTMD) as a corporate sponsor. Through technical seminars and webinars, knowledge sharing within the industry was strengthened, connecting young engineers and students with emerging technologies. Additionally, Imbat’s Deputy General Manager, Arel Arsoy, served as a moderator and speaker in webinar series organized by İSKİD throughout 2024, sharing industry experience and technical knowledge with a broad audience. These voluntary contributions reflect Imbat’s knowledge-driven approach to social responsibility.

To raise social awareness, a special collaboration was launched with the Red Children Association during Mother’s Day week. Imbat presented meaningful gifts prepared by the association on behalf of its female employees, offering a heartfelt gesture while also providing financial support to the organization. Through informative sessions and social media posts during the event, the association’s work supporting disadvantaged children reached a wider audience. This special collaboration not only strengthened internal communication but also created a social impact that encourages sensitivity toward civil society.
