Breaking the “Glass Ceiling” in Global Markets: Exports to Over 60 Countries 

For İmbat, 2025 was also a year of challenging international markets. In addition to strengthening its presence in Italy and Spain—home to major global HVAC players—the company achieved a majormilestone by realizing its first exports to the United States, a market often described as a “glass ceiling” for the sector. 

While increasing its market share in the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) region, İmbat also established strong collaborations in North Africa and the Middle East (MENA). By the end of 2025, İmbat emerged as a brand exporting technology to more than 60 countries worldwide. How Is an Ice Hockey Arena Air-Conditioned?

Air conditioning an ice hockey arena requires a far more precise engineering process compared to a standard indoor sports hall. This is because three different environments— the ice rink, spectator areas, and service spaces—must be controlled simultaneously.

For the cooling of the ice surface, the temperature is typically maintained at around –4 °C. To maintain this level and ensure consistent ice quality, Chiller Units equipped with Desuperheater technology are used. Operating with a high-precision control system, these chillers not only provide cooling but also recover condensation heat to meet the facility’s hot water demand. This eliminates the need for additional boilers, extends compressor lifespan, reduces energy consumption, and lowers operating costs.

Humidity is one of the most critical factors affecting ice quality, as it can cause fogging and condensation indoors. To address this, the system is supported by integrated dehumidification technology within Imbat Rooftop Units, which keeps the spectator area air dry and helps maintain the stability of the ice surface.
